Square-Enix has announced the official release date of Hitman: Absolution and its pre-order downloadable spin-off.

The game will launch worldwide November 20, while the pre-order exclusive bonus Hitman: Sniper Challenge is available to download from May 15 on Xbox Live and PSN, and August 1 via Steam.

"Agent 47 is the best in the business so it seemed appropriate to create the best pre-order reward possible for our fans,” said Jon Brooke, brand director of the Hitman franchise. "Hitman: Sniper Challenge is a way of thanking customers and giving them a taste of Agent 47′s skills from the moment they pre-order the game.”

That’s a pretty sweet pre-order deal, what makes it even better is the ability to get your Hitman fix months before the game actually launches. Don’t expect amazing things from the title, but it will certainly keep you occupied for a fair few hours. That said, the final shot in the trailer below makes us want this game right now.

For that to happen, we have no deadline for posting logos. People can continue to post their logos and we will continue to looking around. So, we have no deadline.

Activision has announced that Call of Duty: Elite has hit 10 million registered users less than one year since the service launched in beta form.

2 million of those users have signed up for a premium membership, forking out the yearly fee of $49.99, however some of these users got a free year with the Hardened Edition of Modern Warfare 3. The numbers have risen from 7 million users and 1.5 million subscribers back in January.

The publisher also revealed that Modern Warfare 3 is currently enjoying 40 million active users a month. There’s no doubting the success that MW3 has enjoyed, Activision has a stable market now that will continue to buy-in every single year. Whether they can keep going at this pace is unknown, but it’s not showing too many signs of slowing down yet.
